Amos,

Sorry I've taken so long to get in touch with you. You can imagine getting moved into our new home has taken most of our time these past few months. I want to thank you again for all your help. It's hard to put into words how happy Debra and I are at being able to purchase the home we wanted. Working with you was a pleasure. That is something I would NOT have said about the realtors I have worked with in the past.

I remember telling you after we settled that I would write something for you that could be used in promoting your business so here it is.

After speaking with Amos Peverill for the first time I could sense a real difference. His approach to real estate is centered around the BUYER'S needs not just the sale.

I point this out because, in my experience, most agents and brokers, while seeming to really care about you as a buyer, are mostly concerned with the settlement date or "pay day" as I call it.

Lets face it, once a contract is signed, the potential buyer is on his or her own. Simple logic will tell us that no one, not the seller, not the brokers or any of the agents involved are going to do or say much to delay or interfere with settlement.

In essence, once the buyer signs on the dotted line, Every one is working for the SELLER.

That brings me to Amos.

After deciding to work with Amos we were immediately provided with an endless stream of information and options. Amos makes you feel like you are his only client. What impressed me was his complete knowledge of the market today, right now.

Problem solving is one of his gifts, as well as lightning quick responses to the ever changing real estate maze.

My wife and I never once felt any pressure to do anything other than what we wanted to do.

I think the main thing that sets Amos apart is preparation. As his client, I went about my home search fully armed. I knew how much I could qualify for BEFORE looking at homes. I didn't waste my valuable and very limited time walking through houses I couldn't afford or driving to areas I did not want to live.

From the time I first spoke to Amos right up through settlement, I felt like I had an advocate, a buyers advocate. Trust me when I say that is very hard to come by in today's world of real estate.

I could go on but it would begin to sound like Amos paid me to write this. He didn't have to. As a rule, I'm a pretty skeptical person. It takes a lot to change my mind about most things. Amos has changed my mind about realtors. I now know there is at least one that knows how to do it right.

Once again, thanks so much for every thing that you did for us. We love the house. We've been painting, laying rugs and of course, installing satellite television in the last couple of weeks! Come for a visit when you folks have a free moment!

Dear Amos,

Just a note, to say thanks for your help in getting us into our new home. It was certainly helpful having someone familiar with the Rural Development Program to get this place. As I recall, even the listing agent didn't know it was eligible for the $0 down payment loan.

You and Susan were very easy to work with and responsive to our concerns. Thanks for all your help and timely advice. Like advising us to use an ASHI Member for a home inspector. Who would have thought a 3-year-old roof would need replacing? I'm glad we didn't have to pay for it!

Well, I've got to go. Still lots of unpacking left.

Dear Amos & Susan:

We would like to take this opportunity to express our heartfelt thanks for the excellent service you gave us during the entire process of selling our home and buying a home. Moving can be such a dreadful experience if not handled correctly and we are happy to say that because of your efforts, the transition was a smooth one.

Installing the Talking House was a good decision. We saw quite a few cars stop and park just long enough to hear Susan's lovely description of our house on their car radio. We feel certain that many calls of interest came from listening to the Talking House.

We also appreciate the communication between Realtor and client. We always got plenty of notice before every showing. This was very important to us as we always wanted to make our house presentable to every prospective buyer.

We appreciate the efforts that went into finding us a new house also.  Faxing us houses as they went online was a great idea. Because of that, we were able to put an offer in on the house of our dreams very quickly before it had been shown to anyone else.

We understand that the real estate field is very competitive and with so many choices in Realtors, we feel very fortunate to find one that truly takes a genuine interest in the needs and concerns of his client. We would feel confident to recommend your services to our family and friends.

Dear Amos,

We know you've worked long and hard on helping us find a home. With the specifics and financial limitations, it was a blessing to find a house with a home office, handicapped accessible, a workshop and a place for our teenager to play. Wow! Thanks.

Of course, we were also thrilled that our home appraised for over $9,000 more than we paid. What a deal!
